Visitor Information
Focused on the creation of contemporary glass art, this hot glass studio workshop has a reputation as one of Europe’s leading glassmaking workshops with a particular flair for the use of colour, form and texture.
Visitors to the free workshop demonstration can experience the heat and mystery of the primeval craft while watching a clump of molten glass evolve into something of value and beauty.
Peter Layton’s work is exhibited in the Glass Art Gallery and is a diverse collection of ornate shapes awash with swirling streaks of colourful glass.
