Visitor Information
The RCM Museum of Instruments was started in 1894 with a donation from Sir George Donaldson.
Today it features over six hundred instruments, some of which date from 1480.
There are many exhibits including the Donaldson, Tagore, Hipkins, Ridley and Hartley Collections. You will be able to see a spinet used by Handel and a clavichord once owned by Haydn.
