Orleans House Gallery is sited in a picturesque woodland garden by the Thames at Twickenham. The gallery hosts a lively programme of temporary exhibitions while the adjacent Baroque Octagon Room (c1720) by James Gibbs - one of the most influential church architects in the age of Queen Anne - is also worth seeing. The Stables Gallery, housed in the 19th century stables building, stages approximately seven contemporary and community exhibitions a year, including contemporary crafts. There is a free car park in the gallery grounds, accessed via Orleans Road only.Location map of Orleans House Gallery
