St Alfege\'s ChurchThis Hawksmoor Church was where Henry VIII was baptised. Thomas Tallis and General Wolfe are also buried in the vaults. It's the site of the martyrdom of St Alfege, Archbishop of Canterbury, in 1012. Grinling Gibbons woodwork and Jean Tijou altar railings can be found in the church and part of the gallery.
