Built by Sir Christopher Wren (1685-1695) this church took its name from the nearby building (The Wardrobe) that stored the royal armoury and formal wear. The church itself was reconstructed between 1959-1963 after war damage.
On show are memorials to Shakespeare and Dowland, and some early 16th-century figures of St Andrew and St Ann holding the blessed Virgin Mary cradling the infant Jesus.
There is a 17th-century font and some glorious 18th century chandeliers.
