St Peter's was built by Hakewill in 1827 and later enlarged by Blomfield in 1875. Rebuilt and opened in 1992, following a fire in 1987, it is now the scene of many fashionable weddings. It is also one of only a handful of London churches which maintains a professional mixed choir. Regular concerts include performances by the Royal Academy of Music String Orchestra, world-class pianists and leading sopranos. A beautiful setting to hear the top notes soaring over the rafters.
