  • Visitor Information
This the original Timothy Taylor Gallery opened in Dering Street in 2003 - just a ten minute walk away you'll find a second gallery in Carlos Place, Mayfair, by the same name. Both galleries are designed by Eric Parry Architects who have created a light infused neutral backdrop which lends itself well to displaying art works. The space was already used as a gallery but the architects - by introducing a precast concrete stair - created a unified space. The ground floor is dedicated to hanging space whilst the first floor consists of showing rooms, offices, stock room, storage areas, a framing workshop and service rooms. Post-war American painter, Alex Katz is among the well known artists represented by the gallery along with highly respected names like Diane Arbus, Andy Warhol and Bridget Riley.
