Embassy GardensEmbassy Gardens, a new-build neighbourhood in Nine Elms on the South Bank, takes design inspiration from the Meatpacking District of New York with floor to ceiling windows and brick facades. This landmark development involved the creation of nearly 2,000 new homes set in landscaped gardens and with a riverfront walkway threading from Embassy Gardens to Battersea Park. The site includes bars and restaurants and al fresco and community spaces. Most striking is the Sky Pool, a stunning outdoor pool which links two residential buildings way up at the 10th storey level, the first of its kind in the world first. The suspended, 25m long, see-through pool allows residents to swim from one building to the next. The sky deck at the top of the two buildings incorporates a spa, summer bar and Orangery for residents to relax and take in the views of London icons which include the Houses of Parliament, London Eye and US Embassy located next door.
