Kensal Green Cemetery
Transcending the borders of Kensington, Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham the Parisian inspired Cemetery is made up of two beautiful conservation areas and an adjoining canal. The picturesque 72 acres of the Cemetery were founded in 1833, and it is home to 33 species of birds and wildlife. The three chapels please all faiths and there are a range of memorials from large mausoleums holding the rich and famous to smaller graves and areas. The Cemetery is also home to the West London Crematorium and its extensive gardens with more memorials on offer in Private Gardens for specific families and Rose gardens.
