Designed by Stirling Prize winning architects Stanton Williams, the firm behind the nearby Granary Complex which includes Central Saint Martin's, King's Cross Pavilion occupies an enviable spot overlooking Regent's Canal. The imposing 9,200 square foot pavilion which opens out onto Granary Square is a three storey building conceived as a single sculptural form. Once complete, it will house a restaurant and bar with a viewing terrace, outdoor dining area on the canal side and full-height windows making use of its waterside position. It adds to the already burgeoning restuarant scene, joining neighbouring rated restaurants including Bruno Loubet's Grain Store, Caravan King's Cross, Dishoom and stalls from street food collective KERB.
