Visitor Information
This charming Bloomsbury shopping street, linking Coram's Fields to Theobald's Road, follows an old route to Lamb's Conduit. Some of the original houses, dating back to between 1700 and 1715, still stand - you'll find them to the north of number 45, within the neighbouring Rugby Estate. These days it's a haven for independent shops, traditional pubs and convivial neighbourhood restaurants. Take Ciao Bella, for instance, a busy, buzzing Italian restaurant where a pianist plays all your favourite Italian tunes every evening. Cigala is the place to go when you've got something special to celebrate and The Lamb, a lovely traditional pub with original fitting, is perfect for a pre- or post-meal pint. Bike, boutique and menswear shops like Folk, Grenson and Oliver Spencer make this street, with its Georgian townhouses, a pleasure to shop along.
