All Fulham mums know and love the Pottery Cafe - it's practically a rite of passage for new mums to take their babies here to get their footprints cast on a mug or dinner plate. But there are a myriad other ways to get creative with pottery decorating too. Choose from their menu of hand made pottery - tea pots, bowls and the like - select your paints and sponges then roll up your sleeves and get painting. If you haven't picked up a brush since childhood their sponges are a good option. The firing part takes a couple of days and your finished masterpiece is usually ready to pick up a week after you've created it. This is the original Pottery Cafe studio which was set up by Emma Bridgewater in 1998 and is located right next door to Emma's Fulham pottery shop. The cafe includes the Little Toy Shop to the front, full of gifts and wooden toys for the under eights, making it even more of a magnet for mums.Pottery Cafe images
