Located between Hackney and the Olympic Park, Queen's Yard on White Post Lane in Hackney Wick is home to a thriving arts community. Venues within Queen's Yard include The White Building, a centre for art, an event space, and a legacy of the 2012 London Olympics, run by SPACE. It also houses the Crate Brewery, a craft brewery and pizzeria overlooking the canal. The Yard, a profit-sharing 130-seat theatre and cinema made from recycled materials is the jewel in the crown at Queen's Yard. The building also has studio spaces for practicing artists and is home to Mother Studios, a collection of artists' studios run by an independent, non-profit, artist-run organisation.
