The Arts Gallery is an exhibition space which promotes the creative talent of art and design subjects taught at the University of the Arts, the umbrella group which London's top arts colleges - including Camberwell College of Arts and Central Saint Martins - fall under. It's a good place to go if you're interested in "discovering promising artists" (Evening Standard), and a launch pad for up and coming artists and designers in the UK. The gallery holds five major exhibitions a year, including solo shows, which are often the featured artist's first major show, survey shows focusing on a theme or medium and group shows. Between exhibitions the gallery hosts performance and digital arts projects.
