Learn about the square mile, the area's 800 year history, its people and its architecture, at The City Centre, where exhibitions, public events and a learning programme reveal the cultural gems and hidden corners of the historically rich financial district of London. As well as regularly changing exhibitions there's a permanent display of New London Architecture's The Developing City which reviews key moments over the City's 800 year history but also looks to the shape of the city between now and 2050. The City Centre is also available for private hire, with a board room, conference room and, for the first time ever, access to London's Roman Amphitheatre, opened up for private events for up to 200 people.
