Nearby Crusting Pipe

- Visitor Information
Owned by Davy's who run a number of wine bars and restaurants in the city, the Crusting Pipe is slap-bang in the middle of the picturesque covered market in Covent Garden. Its courtyard location, one level down, means you can sit outside whatever the weather and listen to the buskers, soaking up the atmosphere while enjoying a glass of wine, beer, sherry or port. The name comes from the barrel - usually containing 570 litres - used for making crusted port. Food is available of the standard pub grub type with bangers and mash or grilled steak followed by treacle tart fairly typical. But the main attraction is the scenic spot is occupies. Yes, it's in the heart of tourist London but that's no reason to leave it just for them.Location map of Crusting Pipe
