ABOUT IMAGES  
Now that the Camden Palace has been pointlessly rebranded as 'KOKO', an started putting on funky house nights, the Electric Ballroom is the last great torch-carrier for Camden's history as the home of UK Indie. Since it opened its doors in 1978, some of the biggest names in the world have played here, but more importantly it has been the testing ground for literally hundreds of up-and-coming bands. It's an integral part of the Camden scene, and you're just as likely to see a guitar hero on the dancefloor as on the stage.
