This is one of London’s most original bars, doing what it does best, that’s serving garlic and shots. Upstairs the restaurant serves good food smothered in the wonder-herb. Downstairs it’s a bar that serves various sorts of shots, including a plethora of house-specials that have to be seen to be believed. The place is very popular with bikers and goths, so expect a leather-clad, friendly crowd. OK, the garlic might make the pulling a little smelly, but the food's damn fine and after all those shots, who’ll care? The music policy is dictated by the regulars, and they will go crazy, but if you love heavy metal too, you’ll have a fantastic night.
