A New York-themed bar, whose location in the dismal backwaters of Euston, and unprepossessing exterior only add to the charm of its speakeasy-style interior. Indian punkawalla fans on the ceiling, a soundtrack of cheery jazz mixed with the funky end of pop and hip-hop, and some impressive cocktails all help to create a buzzy atmosphere. The only drawback is that when the downstairs has been booked for a party, the long, thin main bar area can become very cramped.
