This is definitely a summer pub, with a big beer garden that packs out on warm evenings, and a high-roofed, airy interior that never feels too stuffy. It's part of the Geronimo Inns chain, which means an excellent selection of bitters, lagers and new world wines. The food is pricier than you'd expect for a town centre pub, but of a reliably high standard. A good local, with a young, international crowd.The Coat & Badge images
