The Crown & Greyhound in Dulwich Village (also known as 'The Dog') is a large pub - really, it's an amalgamation of two: The Crown and The Greyhound. With its two bars, snugs, restaurant, two-tiered back garden and space out the front, it has enough room for the world and his dog. There's a 'locals' feel to the place bourne out through events like the regular weekly chess club and wine society meetings. The local cycling club also use the pub as the venue for their monthly meetings. They've got over twenty different chilled lagers, beers and ciders to choose from as well as four draught wines and a full menu with specials available throughout the week. Dulwich is off the tube map so getting here (unless you're local) is by train - to North Dulwich - car or bike.
