The Rhythm Factory

Scuzzy venue on the outskirts of Shoreditch which looks like a crummycafe from the outside. Walk past the crowded plastic tables and chairsand through a discreet door to access two large rooms. The music is diverse, from live bands to DJs playing funk, jazz, soul, and gentle hip hop. On weekends, cutting edge dance sounds, covering everything from electronica to bashment, are the main attraction. There are also open mic comedy nights and poetry sessions. The Thai food in the cafe isn't bad, either.
