One of the oldest pubs in Smithfield, The Old Red Cow has stood on this spot on Long Lane since the year dot. Steeped in history, the old drinking inn has been sympathetically done up and retains much of its olde world charm plus a few 21st century mod cons including a free jukebox. Twinkling chandeliers and wooden floors give the place a shabby chic appeal and there's a resident pub pianist as well as regular live music, carefully tended ales, morning coffee, Sunday Roasts and Friday night frolics. A fantastic menu of locally sourced food is served but this is resolutely NOT a gastro pub, just a brilliant boozer with fine food, good music and friendly staff. The Old Red Cow images
