Excellent, intimate bar with a mainly gay crowd in the middle of Soho boasting the usual combination of expensive but superior cocktails, finger food and a pounding sound system. There's a serious line-up of DJs with bar-grooves, soulful house and tribal tunes, but the London crowd is attitude-free and just there for the vibe, and sometimes the bare-chested men. On Tuesday nights Bar Code is given over to 'Comedy Camp', one of the best gay / mixed stand-up comedy nights in town. This comedy night attracts some big names (its claim to fame is that Al Murray and Harry Hill have performed here) and continues to wow audiences with a barrage of laughs.
