The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) has four function rooms; the largest can hold a maximum of 500 guests, the smallest is ideal for 20.

The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) is among the best schools for the studies of foreign cultures and languages in the world. In fact, in the field of African and Arabic culture and language studies, it is the best. The school offers a stunning array of courses from the History of Cambodian art to a five-step course in Swahili. The lecturers are superb and almost every course boasts a wealth of fascinating additional modules. Every course is as exciting and informative as it sounds and the sheer quality of the teaching and resources available in London makes this one of the most exciting places in the world to study. The university also includes possibly the smallest bookshop in London and is home to the Brunei Gallery. Exit from the first floor of the gallery and you'll find a delightful Japanese-inspired roof garden available for peaceful meditation, tea ceremonies and to hire for private functions, it's also often used as a venue for exhibition openings.
