Billed as London's first rock'n'roll hotel the Sanctum Soho is unashamedly elitest, targeting touring bands and giving them a glamorous location to relax after a big gig. In addition to the usual concierge services, they can set you up with a Harley Davidson and sort out your guitar and amp needs. Close to Golden Square, Number 20 Warwick Street is a beautifully designed building with its art nouveau front built to the designs of J. W. Randall Vining of Chancery Lane in 1906-7. Inside, the makeover is equally magnificent from the plush rooms (from crash pads to two bed apartments) with their Miller Harris toileteries, iPod docking stations, Wii consoles and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Dine at the No.20 Restaurant or watch movies in the plush 45 seat cinema which even has its own bar and can be hired for private screenings. But the crowing glory is on the fifth floor - the roof garden with outdoor Jacuzzi, just what you need to unwind after playing a sell-out European tour.
