Fitted out to luxury standards, Stratford Picturehouse is one of 20 independent cinemas operated by Picturehouse which also owns Clapham Picturehouse, the Gate Picturehouse, Greenwich Picturehouse, Hackney Picturehouse, and Ritzy Picturehouse in London. The modern Stratford cinema has four screens, stadium seating, 3D projection, and THX sound in the main auditorium, and the landmark building has won numerous architectural awards. The cinema can be hired for conferences and events and its four auditoria can seat as few or as many as you like, up to a maximum of 258 people, with space for lecterns and top tables, PA systems, and a front-of-screen computer interface. The smallest screen (screen 4) seats 144 while the largest (screen 1) can accomodate up to 264 people.
