The Marquee at Battersea Park, set up each winter within the park's Events Area, is a popular space for corporate events, trade fairs and exhibitions. Regular annual fixtures held in The Marquee include the Affordable Art Fair and the Decorative Antiques and Textiles Fair. Also within the Events Arena is the Battersea Evolution, a 5,500 metre square super-structure where Elton John has played. The covered area has, at its heart, a large 95 metre by 50 metre main hall which can seat up to 2,500 guests for a dinner dance style event. To get The Marquee area, it's best to enter the park from the Chelsea Bridge entrance, next to Chelsea Bridge, then make your way along North Carriage Drive until you reach a small roundabout, the second exit from the roundabout is signposted 'Events Arena'.
