The O2 has four function rooms; the largest can hold a maximum of 2350 guests, the smallest is ideal for 200.
The second most embarrassing legacy of Tony Blair's time in government struggled for years to find a role after the millennium show shut up shop. It's now been remodelled and rebranded, and the laughably huge interior space subdivided into a number of new venues - there's a 2,000-capacity nightclub, an 11-screen cinema, theatre and exhibition spaces, bars and restaurants. Two sleek new bars and three foodie restaurants opened in summer 2007 under a new company called The Glorious Group created by entrepreneurs Akbar Asif and Iqbal Wahhab - the man who brought us The Cinnamon Club and Roast restaurant. The centre of the space is the 02 Arena hosting gigs by big name acts such as The Rolling Stones, Prince, Barbra Streisand, Justin Timberlake... the list continues. This is the first purpose-built music venue in London, and, with a capacity of 23,000, looks set to offer the soulless Wembley Arena some serious competition.The O2 images
