Cavernous Spitalfields pub with regular comedy and cabaret nights, a basement bar for hire and good pub food. Gets nice and cosy in the winter, puts the enclosed garden to good use in the summer and has a big screen for sporting events. A pub quiz taking place every other Monday in support of a local charity. Teams of six players are encouraged to join up, £10 per team to enter, starts at 6.30pm.The Water Poet events
