This splendid 1930s art deco Grade II listed East End dance hall has a capacity of over 2,600 and prides itself as "London's most versatile venue". A premier conferencing, exhibition, banqueting and live concert venue, the Troxy has undergone a recent upgrade but its original charm has been mercifully maintained. In its time the Troxy has been used for mainstream concerts, corporate dinner for up to 1,200 guests, fashion shows, beauty pageants, indoor sport, award shows, plays, conferences, exhibitions, film shoots, wedding receptions - even a spot of cage fighting. The interiors are a swash of purple, mauve, turquoise, lavender and cream, and the upper-tier seating is as impressive as any West End theatre.
