It's worth venturing all the way to Balham for this comedy club – it's a class act. Featuring consistently good performances, it's a simple no-nonsense affair. Popular with the likes of Harry Hill, its emerged as a favourite in the comedy circuit.
Taking place every Friday and Saturday, the line up varies from one show to the next. Every show is normally hilarious, and in the hugely friendly club you'll feel at ease to roar with laughter alongside your fellow punters.
The Bedford has a fabulous little roundhouse setting stashed away at the back of the pub. The audience sit in a mini auditorium, with tables, chairs and a buzzing atmosphere. Food and alcohol is served throughout and when the last laugh is had you can dance to the Monkeyfunk DJ till 2 am.
It's £12 on a Friday night and £15 on a Saturday. The door policy is first come, first served. It does get busy so we recommend you head down their early, nab a seat, grab a beer and wait to be entertained. It's a hoot.
