Located above the The Bridge House pub in Little Venice, the Canal Cafe Theatre offers a selection of comedy and new writing in a cosy setting. Visitors cluster around candle-lit tables and yes, you can bring drinks into the auditorium. Up to 14 performances a week are shown here, and the Canal Cafe is also home to NewsRevue, which holds the Guinness Word Record for the world's longest running live comedy show. The quality of the theatre is somewhat inconsistent, but this is a genuinely charming fringe venue.
