With its title roughly translating as meaning someone from the Turkish town of Antep, Antepliler specialises in the very best of Turkish cuisine and, seeing as Antep has a reputation back home for excellent cooking, this North London establishment has a lot to live up to. Upper Street has many other Turkish restaurants but the first-rate service and sublime cooking ensure that Antepliler has its place amongst the best. The dishes are true to the flavours of the region, with the mixed mezze including familiar items such as tabule and grilled aubergines along with more unusual dishes such as spiced lentil koftes.
