London's biggest Asian foodhall has put Colindale on the map. It may be further north than you've been before but with over 20 food kiosks, bubble tea and seating for up to 450 all under one roof, Bang Bang Oriental is worth the trip - and it's only 20 minutes from central London on the northern line. Four Seasons (no, not THAT Four Seasons), the Bayswater and Chinatown institution, famous for its Hong Kong-style Cantonese roast duck, is one of the food outlets to choose from. Sukaria brings a new twist to traditional Asian cooking skills with its Cantonese, Hakka and Malaysian dishes, UMi specialises in sushi, freshly sliced sashimi and tempura while Yaki Ya Grill Japan serves dishes cooked on the traditional Yakitori grill. The choices are too many to list here and certainly too numerous to get through all of them in one sitting. This place - a 32,000 square foot architecturally designed food court with landscaped outdoor area - makes North London a new food destination. If you don't like the idea of communal tables, try the Golden Dragon flagship restaurant underneath for dim sum lunches and traditional Chinese food in the evening.
