Seasonal dishes with a French-Italian leaning are made from ingredients sourced predominantly from independent local suppliers at Bistro by Shot, an all-day restaurant from the team behind local cafe and bar Shot Espresso, and pizza and ice cream joint Ice & Slice, both in Fulham. Headed up by talented Head Chef Fabrice Meier, formerly of Trinity, The Wild Game Company and One-O-One Knightsbridge, the menu changes according to the time of year but begins with eggs benedict, French toast and corn fritters for breakfast as well as some super healthy smoothies. Lunch brings a choice of mussels and guinea fowl while dinner could be a combination of cucumber cannelloni with Dorset crab followed by pork belly, pan-fried halibut or beef fillet with pomme puree. Keeping it local, the wine and spirits list has been put together with advice from Fulham wine shop, Vagabond, and the oak parquet floor interiors of the 40-cover venue are by Charlie Borthwick of local design company, Cue Design, who has put in a bar, bespoke tables, chairs, shelving and lanterns overhead all made from salvaged timbers.
