Seasonal French fare from Raymond Blanc's team is on offer at 20 brasseries across the UK, including seven in London. In 1996, Raymond opened his first Le Petit Blanc brasserie in Oxford and in 2006 the group was re-launched as Brasserie Blanc. The brasseries offer French classics and modern dishes, all made with fresh and seasonal ingredients. Typical a la carte choices are salmon and beef tartares, 'plats' of pork belly, lamb kidney casserole, and boeuf stroganoff, followed by desserts of chocolate souffle, crepes Suzette and Normandy apple tart. The children's menu features 'Henri le Worm' and his friends who take younger visitors on a gastronomic journey through the ingredients which make up a menu of mac 'n' cheese, big fish finger, and a mini charcuterie board.
