The famous French cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu, brings a touch of Parisian glamour to London with a fine dining restaurant, a cafe and an outpost of the London culinary institute all under one roof. With a bold interior by design architects LXA, Cord marries contemporary, statement light installations with a timeless colour palette and 17th century Parisian design. The letter 'C' forms a key feature of the design, greeting guests as they enter the 90-cover Cord Restaurant. Here you'll find a daily a la carte and an accessible weekly-changing set lunch menu - priced at a reasonable £25 per head. Served within an hour and a half, the set lunch offers dishes like heritage tomato carpaccio and smoked rainbow trout, coupled with fine wines by the glass. Wine pairings and alcohol-free tea pairings are also on offer. The more casual Cord Cafe has space for 30 with French patisseries and viennoiseries - all baked fresh on site daily - alongside gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, homemade soups and artisan breads. The third string to its bow, the cookery school is the place to go for short courses for up to 14 people on worldwide cuisine, food and wine pairing and patisserie. Corporate short courses, ideal for team building, are also available, followed by a meal in the restaurant.
