West Londoners enjoying the perks of parklife should make a beeline for Cafe Ginkgo, part of the Ginkgo Garden Centre and adjacent to Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith. Just head south out of the park under the railway arches and you'll find the cafe within the centre with its leafy courtyard out the back. Tie in your tea break with a look around the Garden Centre and you can combine roses bush browsing with a menu of scones with clotted cream and jam. Open for the earliest risers, they serve a breakfast of breads including cinnamon and apple, croissants, bagels and fresh fruit salad. Roast butternut and thyme soup is a typical lunchtime dish along with grilled vegetable salad or chicken tagine for something more meaty.Cafe Ginkgo images
