Cambridge Street Kitchen Cambridge Street Kitchen, the cafe within the lovely Artist Residence, a 10-bedroom hotel, founded by Charlie Newey and Justin Salisbury, serves eggs Benedict and salt beef sandwiches to residents and non-guests alike. Open for breakfast through to dinner, head chef, Radek Nitkowski, previously of Dean Street Townhouse offers banana pancakes with crispy smoked bacon and maple syrup, and quinoa with peach, goji berries, mint and yoghurt from 7.30am when a long, marble-topped bar is laid with fresh pastries and daily newspapers. Come midday, pastries are replaced with a all day dishes like sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and open sandwiches. Dinner from 5pm brings starters of beetroot salad and scallops with black pudding and apple sauce, followed by mains of mussels with shallots, fennel and cream or pan fried sea bass with fregola and coriander.
