Bringing something alternative to London's restaurant scene, Cassis Bistro in Knightsbridge aims to provide an all-round slice of Provence with its contemporary art laden interiors and high quality Southern France cuisine. With ingredients sourced both locally and from the Mediterranean, Head Chef David Escobar aims to create great menus for every occasion and the stylish décor added to an atmosphere that reflects French culture means that this restaurant ticks all the right boxes. Owned by Marlon Abela, the possessor of a whole range of Michelin-starred restaurants in both London and the USA, Cassis has everything you'd expect from a French restaurant; extravagant dishes (take the grilled prawns with anisette liquer, fennel shavings and orange as an example), expensive cutlery, attentive and gracious staff and a top-notch wine list. And if you're not a wine fan, then the range of signature cocktails is also worth paying attention to.
