A third addition to the Charlotte's Group is the lovely Charlotte's W5, which has continued the group's award-winning theme with a Bib Gourmand 2017. Worth trekking to Ealing for, the restaurant is housed in a Victorian stable block conversion and is ideal for everything from a lunch with your laptop to cocktails and nibbles with friends - they even give you an ordering guide dependent on the scenario. Choose your plate size according to how many of you there are - a taster for one, small for two or large for three - and sample many of the delights on offer, with each suitably priced for their size. Choose from dishes such as cured salmon with garden pea and avocado; homemade ricotta with summer beets and cashew nuts; roast Pollock with mussels and broccoli puree; and beef bavette with sherry glazed mushroom and horseradish. Even the desserts come in two different sizes, with a milk chocolate pot and hazelnut mousse, carrot cake and cream cheese, and cherry sorbet with summer fruit among the options. Brunch is also available daily.
