Dead Dolls ClubThe Dead Dolls Club started in 2011 as a Hackney design collective and soon progressed into the ever-expanding world of pop ups, providing Londoners with tempting winter feasts. Now, they have settled in their first permanent residence in Dalston to provide more overly alcoholic cocktails and late night dancing. Nestled between an Indian restaurant and a fish and chip shop on the Kingsland Road, and decorated with hand drawn artwork that illustrates a bright English conservatory, the club is a welcoming sanctuary. The cocktails continue the English theme with manor house titles and the intention of evoking what it's like to live in such a house: The Lady of the Manor, made with prosecco, peach, apple and vodka; The Lord of the Manor, a concoction of high end spirits; and The Game Keeper, a beer-based cocktail that's served in a beer barrel-esque jar. Also, teaming up with hunters and gatherers The Foragers, they serve a quintessentially British menu titled 'sticky fingers', with pigeon kebabs, pan seared boar loin, cured trout and a homemade rosehip-infused BBQ sauce.
