Like the Beak Street original and Covent Garden location, this Denmark Street branch of Flat Iron boasts a simple menu. So simple in fact, it only has one dish: a tempting cut of flat iron steak. The brainchild of Charlie Carroll, following on from his successful 2012 summer pop up, Flat Iron aims to give Londoners the chance to feast on high-quality steak without the unappealing price tag. As well as the steak, there are regular specials like a deep fried Béarnaise Burger and Grassfed Wagyu Bavette while a tempting selection of sides include creamed spinach and dripping cooked chips. Despite being further away from the bustling centre of Soho, this branch still gets extremely busy so expect to queue, especially at weekends, and be warned, the smug doorman seems to enjoy informing punters of the lengthy wait time.
