Pop up pizza place Homeslice gets a permanent home in Neal's Yard, Covent Garden, as Kiwi chef Ry Jessup teams up with business partner Mark Wogan to create a 50-seat restaurant offering five pizza choices a day. Combinations of artichoke and courgette or bone marrow, fire roasted spring onion and watercress are the more unusual toppings alongside the classic Margarita which is always on the menu. Homeslice pizzas - hand-rolled on a marble work surface and cooked in a wood fired oven - have already built up a loyal following with pop ups, most recently The Filling Station in Kings Cross. Pricing is as simple as the menu: a slice, a pint and a glass of wine are all priced at 4 pounds each, eat in or take away. Like an honesty bar, double magnums of house wine are laid out on the tables along with a measuring stick, so you can help yourself to the house white and only pay for what you drink.
