Honest Burgers joins the current movement of new eateries all driven by their passion for making quality creative burgers. Byron and Gourmet Burger Kitchen lead the way and have proved their worth in the fine art of burger making, now Honest Burgers steps up to the plate with its Brixton Village Market shop. The shack like shop unit works well, considering the small amount of space they have, and has both outdoor and indoor seating. They can finally celebrate properly after gaining their BYO license. The aged beef patties come from the Ginger Pig and are cased in generous firm brioche buns. The chips are triple cooked and not for the faint hearted and the signature burger is a tower of mature cheddar, red onion relish, lettuce, pickles and bacon. These bad boys are pretty juicy so roll up those sleeves and get stuck in. The burgers may give you heartburn, but at least the prices won't hurt. This place is very reasonable, you can get yourself a massive cheesburger and chips for just £7.
