Across 120 restaurants in nine different countries, Ippudo was serving 40,000 bowls of ramen each day - and that was before they even opened this flagship 80-seat venue in London's Central Saint Giles, their first European branch. With over 100 restaurants worldwide covering New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney, Ippudo has nearly thirty years of history and tradition behind it, serving an authentic menu of Hakata-style ramen. A Tonkotsu soup (pork-based) is the foundation of Ippudo's famous ramen, made in-house by boiling pork bones over two days to give it a rich flavour and creamy texture. Signature dishes include the Shiromaru Hakata Classic, Hirata Buns and Wagyu-Tataki - seared wagyu sirloin served rare with spring onions, black olives and a ponzu and wasabi soy sauce.
