Above the much-loved Dinings SW3 in Chelsea, Kurabu (meaning 'clubhouse' in Japanese) turns the upstairs floor into a contemporary Japanese restaurant. Deep fried sushi rice topped with sashimi is just one of the dishes on the snack menu which includes sushi rolls, tar tar chips and mini steamed burger buns filled with wagyu beef and shrimp tempura. The cocktail menu gives an Asian twist to the classics - the Tokyo Mule, for example, gives the whisky based drink a smoky kick - and they stock an extensive sake list, including their own-label sake from Konotomo, a family-run brewery in the Shiga region of Japan.
