The legacy of the late French chef, Joel Robuchon, can be found in this Mayfair pastisserie, Le Deli Robuchon, together with its sister restaurant Le Comptoir Robuchon in the same building but with its own separate entrance Clarges Street. Both remain true the great French chef's 'theatre' of cooking while maintaining his high standards - Robuchon was the most decorated chef in the history of the Michelin Guide, at one time holding 32 stars. At Le Deli on Piccadilly you can eat-in or take-away perfect pastries and sandwiches including baguette with ham and their own butter or Le Croque a la truffe made with Saint-Nectaire and truffle. Freshly baked pastries from the off-site boulangerie are brought in daily offering choices of banana bread with mascarpone and caramelised almonds, porridge with dry fruits and chia seeds as well as traditional handmade croissants. Salads, afternoon tea and cheese and charcuterie boards can be enjoyed at high-top tables as well as circular cafe tables. They're all surrounded by decorative displays and a marble topped deli display in the middle filled with prettily packaged cooking oils, cornmeal and cookie mix.
