Set over two glorious floors in the heart of Theatreland and from the people behind Arbutus and Wild Honey, Les Deux Salons combines French brasserie dining and the elegance of modern London life. The setting is pretty stunning: the main focus of the double-height main room is the eye-catching traditional oak bar with its aged copper top, which presides over the room underneath an impressive stained glass skylight. Customers can enjoy a drink or a meal on tables dotted around the room or ensconced in the dark green leather banquettes. With oak floor boards and marble underfoot, antique mirrors on the walls and chandeliers up above, there's a lovely ambiance to the place. Menu suggestions include ravioli of rose veal with fresh goats curd and cavolo nero, roast halibut with razor clams, and Paris Brest with praline cream. And, of course, there's all the old favourites such as bavette steak and classic bouillabaisse, while wine from a short and concise list is served both by the bottle or the carafe. After unanimously strong early reviews, Les Deux Salons is shaping up to be a West End favourite.Les Deux Salons images
